The Cluck Story
Cluck's owner Rachael's story is a true testament to following your passion and turning your dreams into reality. Hailing from Auburn, Alabama, Rachael was born with a taste for good food. She grew up watching her mother and grandmother create mouth-watering family recipes, sparking a love for cooking that would follow her for life. After graduating from college, Rachael spent a summer in Glacier National Park, where the stunning views and fresh mountain air captured her heart. Eager for a change, she packed her bags and headed for Colorado, where she spent 12 years working a corporate 9-to-5 job. But, Rachael was always restless, yearning for a bigger purpose in life. Steered by her passion for cooking and talented culinary skills, Rachael noticed a gap in Denver's food scene- there was no good fried chicken! She knew she could change that by creating a niche for herself. So, with a fiery determination, she attended culinary school to hone her skills and started her own food truck in 2012, aptly named The Cluck Truck.
As her delicious fried chicken started winning fans across the city, Rachael was able to lease a kitchen space at The Dive on Broadway. Her cuisine was cherished, and after three years of growth, Rachael decided to open her own brick-and-mortar restaurant- Cluck Chicken!
Her hard work and unwavering spirit paid off, and her restaurant became an instant hit in the heart of Denver. Diners revel in the flavors of Rachael’s fried chicken and appreciate the love and passion in each dish.
